Each Wood Badge patrol is assigned a “critter” from the official list of critters. starting with the Beaver and working toward Antelope.  Only those courses with many participants have the rare Buffalo and the even more rare Antelope patrols.

You might want to take some time to commit the official critter order to memory.  It will serve you well during the course and afterward.
